Terms of Use
These terms set out the agreement between you and ArcSignal. They are written to be clear and fair, so you know exactly what to expect.
Use ArcSignal lawfully and for its intended purpose, keep your subscription current if you go Pro, and understand that ArcSignal provides price guidance, not a guarantee of any price or purchase outcome. You can stop using it at any time.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Birchwood Group LLC (“ArcSignal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the ArcSignal extension and this website (together, the “Service”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using ArcSignal you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these Terms.
3. License to use ArcSignal
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for your own price-tracking purposes. We retain all rights not expressly granted to you.
4. Permitted use
You may use ArcSignal to track prices on supported stores, view price history, receive buy-or-wait verdicts, and set price drop and target-price alerts for your personal shopping. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and with the terms of the stores you visit.
5. Prohibited use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where the law permits;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission;
- Use the Service to violate a store’s terms, scrape at abusive volumes, or interfere with any system;
- Circumvent plan limits, billing, or security, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Your responsibilities
ArcSignal has no account system, so you are responsible for the device and browser on which you install it and for any payment method you use to subscribe to Pro. You are responsible for verifying the final price and terms with the retailer before you complete any purchase.
7. Plans, billing, and cancellation
ArcSignal offers a free plan that tracks up to five products and paid Pro plans for unlimited tracking and automatic alerts. Pro is offered at $8 per month or $69 per year. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider, and you authorize that provider to charge your selected payment method. You can cancel at any time through the provider used at checkout; cancellation stops future renewals, and access to Pro continues until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
8. Product availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we may add, change, or remove features, supported stores, or plan details over time. Price detection depends on third-party store pages that can change without notice, so availability and accuracy cannot be guaranteed at all times.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and the ArcSignal name and logo, is owned by Birchwood Group LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. Store names referenced in the Service are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only for compatibility and identification.
10. Third-party stores and services
ArcSignal interacts with third-party stores and uses a third-party payment provider. We do not control those parties and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, or practices. Your dealings with any store, including purchases, are solely between you and that store.
11. Disclaimers
ArcSignal provides price information and guidance to help you decide, not financial advice or a guarantee. Buy-or-wait verdicts are based on observed price history and may not predict future prices. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArcSignal and Birchwood Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost savings or missed deals, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and uninstall the extension at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing language
These Terms are written in English. If they are translated into another language for convenience and a conflict arises, the English version controls.
